How To Get Good Backlinks

Google has thrown the SEO community into a tizzy with their recent actions. Blog networks are disappearing from the internet after being exposed as nothing more than vehicles for websites to get backlinks. This is big news with far reaching ramifications. It's impossible to say how many blogs were deindexed but estimates put the number of websites impacted at somewhere over 1 million.

Some businesses had grown so dependent on this and other questionable backlink building practices their revenues dried up overnight as their websites rankings tanked. While it is unfortunate for those whose businesses were impacted, it is actually good news for businesses who use safe link building techniques. After all, Google needs to return search results to their searchers. Every website that fell off page 1 was replaced with a websites that was not penalized by the latest round of search result adjustments.

If your backlink building approach avoids spammy, questionable practices, and sticks with methods that actually help Google and the other search engines return relevant results, you should never have to worry about or be beholden to the search engines.

While the number of options diminished greatly these past few weeks, there are still quality options available. Look for seo company's who want to actually help your business. They should be focusing on providing you with quality content and relevancy.

Although the safe techniques tend to be the most time consuming, they are also the most beneficial. And there are even ways to eliminate the required work altogether.
